Miami Art Basel 2021
Art Basel was established in the 1970s by gallerists Ernst Beyeler, Trudl Bruckner, and Balz Hilt. Since then it has continued to be a huge event celebrated each year. For this year 2021, the Miami Art Basel will be held on December 2–4. It is promising to be one of the most exciting Miami Art Basel events. The Art Basel fair would be open to VIP guests from the 30th of November and the event will close on December 4 which is earlier than usual. This year promises to host a lot of art exhibitions, conversations and installations as well.
Following the exhibitions and activities of Art Basel, you can unwind and relax by attending some of the after-parties to experience Miami nightlife packages. The Bakehouse Art Complex hosts an annual Miami Art event that covers indoor and outdoor exhibitions, visits to artist studios and installations. The year 2021 Coral Gables Art Museum event is in celebration of the first museum’s retrospective. Julio Larraz: The Kingdom We Carry Inside, which was curated by Yuneikys Villalonga. There promises to be small chops and bites for this event, and it is a free-access event to the public. At the event, there would be a book signing by Julio Larraz of his recent book, which was published by Rizzoli New York.

This immersive installation is focused on the development of digital technology in interactive and large-scale spaces. This panel chose to raise awareness about using algorithms and the impacts of digital technology on the environment. The conversation would be held at the Grand Ballroom auditorium, and it would be free access to the public but would be maintained on a first-come, first-serve basis. Conversations would also be live-streamed on the panel’s Facebook page and YouTube channel with subtitles. The event is organized by Art Basel, and headsets for hearing aids will also be provided upon request in the auditorium.

Lastly, La Prairie has collaborated with the Taiwanese artist, Wenchi Su, for the year 2021 Miami Art Basel. The theme of the Dance of Light and Water is geared towards a poetic dance performance inspired by the two elements of life, light, and water.
