PICKING YOUR VEGAS POOL PARTY

There are so many ways to party in Vegas! One thing you should know is that many pools do not have seating for general admission guests. Keep that in mind when choosing to spend all day at a pool party! Here are some different ways (and different budgets), to help pick what is best for you!

  1. Book a table!

This one will run you a pretty penny ($1,000-$10,000 minimum consumption spend) at the best pool parties, but maybe it is just right for your group of friends! Price can change depending on DJ, group size, and venue. Booking a table could be the best option for a weekend of splurging in Vegas, but not something you want to do every weekend.

  2. Buy a General Admission Ticket!

A whole lot cheaper than the option above, typically $30-$50 but it comes with some downfalls as well. The general admission line can get pretty long, and in the Las Vegas heat, it may put a damper on your day. Nonetheless, it is a good way to get in for a better price!

  3. Guest List!

Unlike the other options, this one is free! If you do decide to go through a promoter for the guest list, please be prepared to wait! The arrival times for the guest lists are strict. You have to arrive at a certain hour (typically the first hour the venue is open) and wait along with the other guests on the list. It can often be a 1 hour + wait In the Las Vegas sun, this option is not ideal. This also may not be an option for groups that have more men than women. Guest lists have strict rules about the gender ratio of your group, so it’s not the best option for male heavy groups.

  4. Las Vegas Pool Crawl!

My personal favorite! With a pool crawl, you can get the most bang for your buck. Not only is this option only about $50, but you get to bypass any lines like a true VIP! With this Vegas pool crawl, you will not wait in long lines, you get to ride a sick Vegas party bus, and you get to visit more than one venue in a day! Not only that, but you get to meet people from all around the world, and you get a VIP party host during your entire crawl to show you how to really party! Find out more information HERE.

THE RULES

Once you pick your poison on how to party, you want to make sure that you show up and get in seamlessly. Las Vegas pool parties have strict rules for their party goers, from dress code to what you can carry in your bag, they will stop you at security if you don’t follow them. Luckily, I have all the rules for you below!

  1. POOL PARTY DRESS CODE

    – This one may seem obvious, but you want to make sure you are wearing real swimwear! Men and women must wear actual bathing suits. No basketball shorts, cotton shorts, or denim shorts will cut it!

    – No socks and sandals! If you choose to wear slides or sandals, you definitely can’t wear any socks. This is not just a fashion faux paux, it’s a strict rule!
    – No athletic wear! This means absolutely no team jerseys will be allowed! No hooded sweatshirts or running shoes, and definitely not your favorite pair of gym shorts or sweats!
    – No jeans! While denim shorts are acceptable for the ladies, leave your long denim at home!

  2. WHAT NOT TO BRING

    – Large bags or backpacks

    – Vapes/ecigs/marijuana
    – Epipens/medications
    – Gum/mints
    – Towels (the pool will provide them!)
    – Weapons/guns/knives/pepper spray
    – Illegal substances

Keep in mind that if you break the rules, there can be consequences! Bag check can run you $20+, if you break dress code they may not let you enter, and getting arrested for illegal drugs can put a damper on your weekend!
