There is nothing quite like partying on Halloween in Los Angeles! If you are spending your Los Angeles Halloween hitting the clubs, there are some dress code rules for your Halloween costumes you must keep in mind to make it the best Halloween ever!
Wigs are the best part of some costumes! You obviously can’t be dressed as Daenerys Targeryan without her long white locks to match! Sexy costumes are one of the best parts of Halloween, and many of them are within the Halloween dress code rules! Make sure if you are donning a sexy costume this year, you have all the appropriate body parts covered. ‘No shoes, no shirt, no service.’ still applies on this holiday! Body paint cannot be worn as a shirt, and girls, leave the pasties at home! Women must wear crop tops at the bare minimum. Clubs are relatively easy going about footwear on Halloween, as long as the flip flops go with the lifeguard costume and not Laura Croft! Safety is the #1 priority for all clubs on Halloween in Los Angeles! You CANNOT wear full face masks, sorry Ghostface! Masquerade style masks are okay if you can easily remove them so security can check your identity, but if you wear a full faced horse head, be prepared to throw it out before entering any venues.
Bad news for all you Jon Snows out there! Weapons, fake or real, are a big no-no! Leave the swords, bats, spears, sticks, bows, and tridents at home this Halloween. There is no armory check at the door, so please do not bring weapons or props for your costume! And for cheech and chong, all drug paraphernalia, real or fake, is definitely not allowed.
Just like the other rules, security must be able to identify you! A latex werewolf bite is good to go, but your face cannot be skewed or unrecognizable by face paint if you plan to party! No Freddy Krueger full face burns, or vampire makeup Buffy style unfortunately.
